take my friend for instance a PS3 owner.
after work today he's going into town to trade his PS3 in for a 360 - hence he's very excited about the future.
playstationthird - it only does non-selling exclusives.
the PS3 is defintely not the original xbox of this gen - don't forget the original xbox actually had some decent games to play unlike the failpatchtonthird.

Budget build quality
Bottleneck issues
Memory sharing problems
Freezing and constant 'patch' updates
compete with the 360 (the true gamers console)......

I think that Heavy Turd will flop on release - if it sales more than 500,000 in it's lifetime i would be amazed.
It's not that i dont like movies,it's the fact that i can't justify paying £40 for it on a console that will probably YLOD on me at any moment.

Halo:reach = epic game
Mass effect2 = epic game
Alan Wake = epic game
GOW3 = game (altohugh shoddy)
GT5 = game (although half-baked)
MAG = game (although noones bought it)
Heavy Rain = Movie
Star Wars = Movie
The Lost Boys = Movie
Surely i can't be any clearer than that can i?

It seems that despite Sony's best efforts to garner some love and attention from their supporters none will be forthcoming - and it's because of games like this.
When you add GOW3, GT5 and Heavy Rain into the mix it appears that Sony are really struggling this generation to live up to expectations.

It seems ME2 is really in the running for GOTY
The competetion will come from Alan Wake, Halo:Reach and Splinter Cell:conviction but ME2 is in with a good shot.
Crackdown2 could be a dark horse too for game of the year - i've never known one year where a single company had it all tied up by January!!!

sure, Nintendo have shifted more units but when it comes to the games MS has aniihilated the opposition.
if natal, a price drop and halo;reach all happen this year then this will be the best ever year for gamers.
